What is Microsoft
Access?
Microsoft access is the most popular and powerful database
management system. It is a relational database management system. It is used to
store and manipulate large amount of data. Microsoft access is very easy to
learn and use. Non-experienced users can easily work in MS-Access.

Microsoft access is used
to store and manipulate large amount of data. It is used to create
tables, queries, forms and reports etc.
What is IDE?
IDE stands for integrated Development environment. An IDE is
very important component of DBMS used by users as an interface. The users
interact with the database program through its ide part to perform different
operations on the database. The users can create databases and database
applications very easily.
What are the uses of
wizards in Microsoft access?
Wizard is a utility that guides user in performing a
particular task. MS-access provides several wizards to create databases tables,
queries, forms and reports etc. The users can easily create databases and different
objects in them.
What is the
application window of Microsoft Access?
MS-Access application window is similar to the other
windows-based applications such as application window of MS-word etc. MS-access
application window contains different elements that are used to perform
different operations on databases.
What is title bar?
Title bar is at the top of MS-access application window. The
name of the application is displayed in title bar. The left side of the title
bar contains the program control icon.
What is many bar?
The commands are grouped together on the menu bar. These
commands can be used to perform different tasks on the database. Each menu
contains related commands to perform different operations in MS-access.
What is meant by
RDBMS?
RDBMS stands for relational database management system. It
is collection of programs that are used to manage the relational databases. A
relational database system provides various operations used to manipulate the
data in the database tables. In relational database system a table is referred
to as relation. Microsoft access is an example of relational database
management system
What is scroll bar?
Scroll bars are used to move around the window if its
contents do not fit on-screen. You can scroll around the datasheet by clicking
the scroll arrows at either end of the scroll bar or by dragging the scroll
button in the scroll bar.
What is table’s
object of MS-Access?
The most important object of database is tables. The data is
stored in tables of database. A table is made up of colums and rows. The rows
represent the records. Each row is divided into columns called fields. The
fields contain different data values of a particular record.
What is query?
The question like statement that is send to DBMS to retrieve
data one or more database tables is called query. It is a powerful and flexible
way of selecting. Filtering and sorting records.
